Boat departs from BAMZ dock in Flatts
Join us for a once in a lifetime experience on Nonsuch Island Nature Reserve and Living Museum. Nonsuch is now home to 37 active breeding pair of Bermuda Petrel (Cahow) and 19 chicks have been produced this year. This is the result of a successful translocation project to encourage the birds to breed on the larger, safer, more elevated island of Nonsuch. Hopefully, Jeremy will be able to introduce us to one of these remarkable chicks. We will also have time to explore the island and enjoy the native and endemic habitat that is unique to Bermuda.
This year we will be travelling on the RV Endurance from the BAMZ dock in Flatts. The boat ride will take about 1 hour.
