Education is an important part of the Bermuda Audubon Society’s mandate. As a wholly volunteer organisation, the society is not in a position to run a full educational programme, however we do offer the following:
- Talks on Bluebirds for primary school students
- An Introduction to Birdwatching course, every few years
- Lectures on Zoom or through BZS or BUEI Lecture Series
- Guided Fieldtrips
- Paget Island Birding Camp, an opportunity to hone your birding skills in the company of experts
- Occasional special school events and competitions to encourage an interest in birds and the environment.
- Guided birdwatching walks in parks and nature reserves.
- Guided bird photography walks in parks and nature reserves.
- Newsletters with interesting and informative articles.
