Sandwich Tern

Status:
Frequent but uncommon vagrant not recorded annually. Usually single birds but occassionally in small numbers post Hurricane. Has been recorded in every month.
Local Habitat:
Coastal waters, often seen on channel markers and buoys.
Habits:
Will also 'flock' with other terns present.
Commonly Seen:
Great Sound, Castle harbour, Coastal waters.
