Annual common migrant mainly September to April (has been recorded in August and May).
Local Habitat:
Parks, wooded gardens, woodland, mangroves and copses
Habits:
Usually solitary and can be secretive, occasionally noisy in proximity of other birds, often seen walking on the ground beneath trees and understory.
Commonly Seen:
Arboretum, Spittal pond, most woodland and wooded parks.
